Carnayo meet & eat restaurant
When visiting Paxos island, bear in mind that there is a traditional restaurant called "Carnayo meet & eat", open all year long, that in my opinion is worth visiting. Surrounded by olive trees and gardens with colorful flowers, it seems to be ideal for lunch or dinner during spring or summer time. The talented chef who works there creates tasty dishes with a special care for traditional flavors and high quality ingredients. Local dishes from neighboring Corfu such as sofrito (beef in garlic sauce), bourdeto (fish baked in red sauce) and pastitsada (chicken or beef in red sauce accompanied by pasta) are served. Moreover, you can taste fresh fish and prawns, mussels etc cooked in various sauces that are impossible to resist when being serving them!
A big variety of wine completes the taste alternations you can experience at Carnayo meet & eat.
What is more, live music concerts accompany customers’ meal every now and then while the musicians are cheerful enough to push guests dancing and having fun.
You can even go there just for a drink, if you are not hungry at all, as spirits are served at the bar.
