Sami Kefalonia
Nature was extremely generous to Sami, the most important international port of Kefalonia, giving it a dense vegetation and some of the most rare sights such as Melissani and Drogarati. All these are combined with the characteristics of a modern city which is full of shops, restaurants and cafes and its central street situated by the beach faces Ithaca and it is full of cars (during the summer it is transformed into a long pedestrian street. Apart from the natural beauties Sami has the best organized camping of the island.
Other beauties of Sami are the beach of Antisamos and Karavomylos with the lake of ducks while in the surrounding villages where there are many sights and traditional stores. During the summer many events and festivities take place.
